Luwanda Bryant, 61, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Richardson Regional Medical Center in Richardson, Texas, after a brief illness. Survivors include her children, Julia and Jeremy of Dallas; grandchildren, J'Nae and Jalen; her mother, Malinda Haynes of Florissant, Mo.; a brother, Louis Haynes of Spanish Lake, Mo.; four sisters, Shirley Sides of Cape Girardeau, Gladys Johnson of Florissant, Sharon Sides of Forney, Texas, Gretchen Woods of Urbandale, Iowa; and a host of nieces and nephews.. ...

The wake will be from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Friendship West MBC in Dallas.
