Jackson sweeps Vienna in doubleheader

The Jackson Senior Babe Ruth baseball team swept a doubleheader with Vienna on Wednesday night.

Jackson won the first game 14-4, then took the nightcap 12-2 in five innings.

Andrew Minson went the distance on the mound in the opener.

Chris Roth collected three hits, while Ben Rhodes, Bryant Steffens and Seth Stevens each had two hits.

Bret Steffens went all five innings on the mound in the second game.

Ryan Bass and Spencer Sander each had two hits in the victory.

Jackson improved to 7-3 with the two wins.
