GRADUATIONS

• Adam Duncan of Chaffee, Mo., and Amber Nagel of Jackson earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
• Kieran Healy of Scott City graduated cum laude from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Healy earned a bachelor of science degree in architectural engineering.
• Jamie Dost Harrison graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and received the John T. Crowe Family Practice Award. Harrison graduated from Jackson High School in 2000.
• Mary Nations of Perryville, Mo., graduated with honors from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.

HONORS

• Jeana Handley, Whitney Sibley, Megan Koch and Jill Bryant of Cape Girardeau received the Experiential Learning Award from the College of Health and Human Services at Southeast Missouri State University.
• Mark Masters of Cape Girardeau received the University Service Award from Southeast Missouri State University.
• Lambda Chi Alpha received the Outstanding Student Organization Award from Southeast Missouri State University.
• Mary Nations and Chris Fischer of Perryville, Mo., made the 4.0 dean's list at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo., for the spring 2008 semester. Brian Buchheit and Lindsey Schumer of Perryville and Rachael Rushin of Jackson made the 3.5 to 3.99 dean's list.
• Jeremy Sarno received the Notre Dame Leadership Award, a College Prep certificate and the Franciscan Spirit Award for the virtue of honor. He will attend the U.S. Air Force Academy.
• Sam Sander of Jackson made the dean's list at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., for the spring 2008 semester.
• Ruth Ann Orr, principal of Alma Schrader Elementary, was accepted into the Golden Key International Honour Society.
• Karen Fornkahl was honored by the Missouri School Boards' Association for 20 years of service on the Nell-Holcomb School Board.
• Art Lindman of Jackson made the dean's list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., for the spring 2008 semester.
