Cape Girardeau The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt. Arrests n David L. Lindsey, 41, 325 Lorimier St., Apt. 1, was arrested on suspicion of assault. n Daunte J. The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • David L. Lindsey, 41, 325 Lorimier St., Apt. 1, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Daunte J. Smith, 29, of Lilbourn, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to pay fines for peace disturbance and possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to pay fine for revoked operator's license and failure to pay fine for failure to appear.
  • Todd L. Williams Sr., 35, 401 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a probation and parole warrant.
  • Melvin J. Steward, 22, of 1215 College St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for noise disturbance.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges for domestic assault.

Summons

  • Zachary R. Young, 25, 1830 Mulberry St., Jackson, was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving.

Thefts

  • Multiple power tools, hand-held tools, a passport and a string trimmer were reported stolen at 1515 N. Henderson Ave.
  • Video games, BB guns and BBs were reported stolen at 1022 Sturdivant St.
  • Southern Convenience Store, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of beverage.
  • A fuel tank was reported stolen in the 2500 block of South Sprigg Street.

Property damage

n Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Park Street.

  • Property damage was reported in the area of Parkview Street.
  • Property damage was reported in the area of Parkview Street and Optimist Hill Drive.
  • A burglary attmept in the 400 block of Whetstone Way.

Miscellaneous

  • A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court.
  • A 12-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for stealing.
  • A 15-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for stealing.
  • A disturbance was reported in the area of Parkview Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the area of Jessica Street.
  • A civil process was reported in the 1300 block of Highland Drive.
  • A court order violation was reported in the 1400 block of Highland Drive.
