Laura Weaver

DONGOLA, Ill.-- Laura N. Weaver, 74, of Dongola died Monday, July 2, 2008, at her home.

She was born Dec. 4, 1933, in Leola, Pa., daughter of John and Mary Nolt Martin. She and Harvey M. Weaver were married Feb. 27, 1954, in Ephrata, Pa.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Glen, Richard, Clair and Ernest Weaver, all of Dongola; six daughters, Janet, Eileen, Cheryl and Sharon Weaver, all of Dongola, Velma Brubaker of Gardners, Pa., Joan Yoder of Dublin, Ga.; four sisters, Anna, Edna, Mable and Mary Martin, all of Pennsylvania; 57 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Mennonite Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
