Catherine D. Dunn, 90, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, July 7, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Anton and Ida Schlitt Glueck. She and W.J. "Pete" Dunn were married April 6, 1940, in Belleville, Ill. He passed away Aug. 19, 1984.

Catherine was self-employed in housecleaning in Belleville many years. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1997 from Belleville, and was a member of Old St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.

Loving survivors include a sister, Helen Trickey of Cape Girardeau, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Parish prayers will be said at 7.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Old St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
