MARBLE HILL, Mo. — An arrest was made in the hit-and-run accident that injured a Marble Hill teenager July 4 on County
Road 836, three miles north of Marble Hill.
Police allege that Ronnie Walker Jr., 25, of Marble Hill was driving the blue pickup truck that hit the motorcycle of Devan Guard, 16, and left the accident scene.
According to Cpl. Perry Hazelwood of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Walker faces felony charges of driving while revoked and leaving the scene of an accident.
Walker was on a court-ordered work release while serving a sentence at the Bollinger County Jail, according to Bollinger County deputy Steve
McCain.
McCain said Walker was serving a 100-day sentence for driving while revoked when he was released by the court to work.
