The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jamie L. Todd, 17, 303 S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • James T. Beck, 38, 167 Cardinal Lane, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Mannuel T. Ware, 29, 1704 Bloomfield St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • Crystal L. Dobbs, 31, 1915 Grandview Drive, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for hand and mechanical signals and motor vehicle financial responsibility requirements and failure to pay fine for leash requirements.
  • Anthony N. Lucas, 21, 1241 Brenda Kay Court, Lot D, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for revoked operator's license.
  • Michael Carroll, 61, of Rockford, Ill., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for littering.
  • Walter W. Gordon IV, 21, 516 West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A subject was in custody pending charges for driving while intoxicated.

Summons

  • Eric S. Brown, 37, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash.

Thefts

  • Rhodes, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A transponder and iPod were reported stolen at 1905 Delwin St.
  • Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen at 514 Locust St.
  • A GPS unit and pack of cigarettes were reported stolen and a driver's side window broken at 1930 Delwin St., No. 2.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Property damage

  • Southside Baptist Church, 805 Hackberry St., reported vehicle damage.
  • A backpack was reported stolen at 2561 Wild Horse Trail.
  • A robbery was reported at Jefferson Avenue and Frederick street.
  • A speaker, DVD player, amplifier and subwoofers were reported stolen in the 400 block of Louisiana Avenue.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraud was reported.
  • Counterfeiting was reported.
  • A 31-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported on East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Identity theft was reported in the 800 block of Greensferry Road.
  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Vale Drive.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1500 block of Kimbeland Drive.
