Bernice Morber

ANNA, Ill. — Bernice Campbell Morber, 86, of Anna died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at her home.

She was born June 14, 1922, in Dongola, Ill., daughter of Edward and Velva J. Lentz Baker. She married Charles Campbell, who died Dec. 29, 1977. She and George Morber were married June 30, 1981. He died April 18, 2007.

Morber was a member of the Church of Christ. She worked for many years at Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann Stuber of Elmwood, Tenn., Frances Cook of Anna; two sisters, Pearl Baker and Louise Baker of Anna; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with John Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery.
