The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Maria A. Shepard, 23, of Dongola, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Joseph H. Boyer, 56, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and driving while revoked, and a St. Francois County warrant for driving while intoxicated.
  • Willie C. Weaver, 45, 507 Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Stephen R. Johnson, 26, 2020 Robin Hood Circle, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • William C. Walley II, 25, of St. Charles, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court, turn-signal violation, seat-belt violation, improper registration, revoked operator's license, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to provide insurance card, resisting arrest and failure to appear.
  • Jason J. Robert, 34, 1927 N. Kingshighway, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to use turn signal and improper registration.
  • Debra G. Little, 46, 1918 Dunklin St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Summons

  • Bi-State Southern reported a theft of gasoline. Thomas J. Fleeman was issued a summons in connection with the incident.

Thefts

  • Kay Jewelers, 3049 William St., reported a theft of cash deposits and jewelry.
  • A bicycle was report stolen at 1149 S. Sprigg St.
  • A revolver, jewelry and coin collection were reported stolen at 5 S. Pind Wood Lane.
  • Missouri license plates were reported stolen at 133 S. Benton St.

Property damage

  • Town Plaza, 2136 William St., reported paint damage.

  • A 44-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.
