MOUNDS, Ill. — Erma Lea Owen, 80, of Mounds died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

She was born May 20, 1928, in Belknap, Ill., daughter of Oscar and Myrtle Shourd Davault. She married Lozeno Owen, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Larry and Donnie Owen of Mounds, Gary Owen of Charleston, Mo.; six daughters, Sheila Leoffler of Brockton, Mass., Marilyn Bruce of Benton, Ill., Barbara Bigham of Mound City, Ill., Sharon Horton of Clinton, Maine, Ramona Parkinson of Stockton, Calif., Virginia Shillito of Energy, Ill.; four sisters, Francis Bennett of San Diego, Calif., Ellavee Vinson of Huntsville, Texas, Sylvia Johnson and AnnLou Johnson of Dwight, Ill.; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

There is no visitation or service.

Private disposition will be at a later date.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
