Boyd, Piazzi advance on 'America's Got Talent'

Sikeston, Mo., native Neal E. Boyd made it as one of the top 40 to go on to the live semifinals on NBC's "America's Got Talent" Thursday night. The show's three judges also punched a ticket for Matthew Piazzi, son of a Southeast Missouri State University voice instructor. Producers saved Boyd for the end of the program, using the moment when the judges decided whether he'd go to the next round as the show's finale. Piazzi appeared briefly, performing his impression of actor Robert DeNiro. The Las Vegas semifinals will begin after the Olympics.
