Laura Tenholder and Sean Simon were married May 8, 2004, at the Jewel Box in St. Louis. The Rev. Paul Short performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Carol Tenholder of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Mark and Carolyn Korlin of St. Louis.

Matron of honor was Danielle Thomson of St. Peters, Mo. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Clarke of Cape Girardeau; Katie Stiegemeier of St. Louis, cousin of the bride; and Stacey Simon of St. Charles, Mo., sister of the groom.

Alan Dodd of St. Louis was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Shores, Justin Adams, Kevin Cundiff, and Josh Korlin, brother of the groom, all of St. Louis. Ushers were Nathan Tenholder of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Andy Neil of St. Louis, and Zach Adams of Jackson.

Flower girls were Emma and Patricia Simon, daughters of Bob and Beth Simon of St. Louis and nieces of the groom.

Kelly Scott, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 7 at Aqua Vin Restaurant in Chesterfield, Mo.

Mrs. Simon is a 1998 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002. She is a second grade teacher with Oklahoma City Schools.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in corporate communication from Southeast University in 2004. He is a territory representative with T-Mobile USA.

The couple is residing in Moore, Okla.
