Robert - Davis

Rebecca Lynn Robert and John Ernest Davis II were united in marriage May 31, 2008, at Hanley Road Church in Clayton, Mo. Jonathan McIntosh performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Donna Robert of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Bill and Helen Burt of Farmington, Mo., and John and De Davis of Mariposa, Calif.

Matron of honor was Annette Rau of Waterloo, Ill., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Karen Klebe, Mary Glarner and Cari Smith, all of St. Louis.

John Gresko of Chicago was best man. Groomsmen were Sam Weekley of Farmington; Mike Frankland of St. Louis; and Johnny Davis of Mariposa, brother of the groom. Ushers were Scott Robert of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, and Jeff Cowsert of Indianapolis, Ind.

Ringbearer was Alex Hendricks, son of Todd and Susan Hendricks of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and nephew of the groom.

Susan Hendricks, sister of the groom, attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Concordia Seminary in Clayton.

The groom's mother and stepfather hosted the rehearsal dinner May 30 at Gian-Tony's Ristorante in St. Louis.

Mrs. Davis received a bachelor's degree in dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master's degree in health care services from Washington University. She is a nutritional consultant with Health Management Corp.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in advanced technical studies from Southern Illinois University, and a master's degree in architecture from the University of Illinois. He is a project architect with Ittner Architects.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
