Virginia Greer

ORAN, Mo. — Virginia W. Greer, 82, of Port Orange, Fla., formerly of Oran, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Summerville in Port Orange.

She was born Oct. 6, 1925, in Scott County, daughter of Earl and Helen Oliver Watkins. She married Lowell Greer Jr., who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Lowell Greer III of Largo, Fla.; two sisters, Annette Zaricor of Sikeston, Mo., Jill Landis of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

There is no service.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, with Ponder Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
