SIKESTON, Mo. -- Larry C. Pool, 68, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 4, 1935, in Sikeston, son of William Clyde and Lela May Noyes Pool.

Pool served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Morrow of Bakersfield, Calif.; his mother, Lela McElroy of Sikeston; a brother, Clarence Pool of Sikeston; stepmother, Betty Pool of Sikeston; a stepsister, Patricia Happy of Wappapello, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Tom Bass officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, with full military rites.
