Christie Adams and David DeRousse Jr. exchanged vows June 7, 2008, at the Rock Garden in Jackson City Park. The Rev. Luther Rhodes performed the ceremony. Music was by Don "Butch" Gast of Jackson, uncle of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of J.C. and Mary Lawrence of Jackson and Joe and Gabbie Mason of Thebes, Ill. The groom is the son of David and Linda DeRousse of Oak Ridge.

Matron of honor was the bride's mother. Honor attendants were Bobby, Bryce and Blayne, sons of the bride.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were David, Dakota and Alex, sons of the groom.

Flower girl was Amanda Matlock, niece of the bride. She is the daughter of Leslie Matlock of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., and Joe Matlock of Tamms, Ill.

Edie Davis of Oak Ridge attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson. Servers were Terri Woods and Becky Gast, aunts of the bride; Natalie Dowdy and Megan Fisk.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 6 at Delmonico's.

Mrs. DeRousse is a 1991 graduate of Meridian High School.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

After a wedding trip to Bull Shoals, Ark., the couple is residing in Jackson.
