Melanie Lacey went 2-for-4 with a triple and double to help lead the Scott City softball team to a 6-4 home victory over Saxony Lutheran on Tuesday.

Jenna Cummins went 3-for-3, while Stacey Heisserer and Lindsey Hadley both went 2-for-3 for the Rams (3-9).

Nicole McLard took the loss in the circle for the Crusaders despite collecting a pair of hits.

Sam Bartels went 3-for-3 and knocked in three runs to lead the Bobcats to victory at home.

Kendra Burnett struck out eight to pick up the win on the mound and added two hits at the plate. Ashley Glaus went 3-for-3 for Delta (7-4).

Nick Wren found the back of the net twice and added a pair of helpers as the Bulldogs improved to 6-1.

John Unterreiner, Brenton Ruopp and Jacob Pewitt also scored in the win.

Unterreiner, Ke-Ke Kellum and Jimmy Obermark all added an assist.

Ryan Bass earned the shutout in goal.

Perryville 5, Kennett 1

Ben Prevallet, Wade Lawrence and Dalton Hoehn all netted a goal and added an assist as the Pirates improved to 5-0 this season.

Bryce Weibrecht and Ken Stephenson also scored for Perryville.

Saxony Lutheran 6, North County 0

Bryant Steffens and Andrew Etzold scored two goals apiece as the Crusaders romped at home.

Garrett Fritsche had a goal and two assists, while Mark Buerck notched the other goal for Saxony Lutheran (4-2).

Steffens and Matt Stueve shared the shutout in the nets.

The Indians got the better of the Tigers for the second time this season.

Jackson (7-0) edged Central 4-2 in singles matches, but the Tigers took two of the three doubles matches.

Perryville dropped to 8-5-1 with the loss.

The Rams improved to 9-1-1 this season with the home win.

Brooke Simpson continued to smash the ball, putting down 10 kills. She added two aces in the win.

Stephanie Essner added 10 digs and three kills.

Notre Dame 25 25 Ste. Genevieve 23 16

Shannon Brennan recorded 14 digs and 17 assists to help lead the Bulldogs to victory.

The victory avenged Notre Dame's loss to the Dragons in the finals of the Notre Dame VolleyballFest.
