Cruthis - hitt

Lacey Megan Cruthis and Lance Cpl. Michael David Hitt were married May 26, 2008, in Greensboro, N.C. The Rev. Garland Thorton of Pleasant Garden, N.C., performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark Cruthis and Kim Cruthis of Greensboro. The groom is the son of Janet Hitt and David Hitt of Jackson.

A reception was held after the ceremony at Hagan Stone Park in Greensboro. A second reception was held June 6 in Jackson, where vows were repeated for the groom's family and friends.

Mrs. Hitt is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Guilford High School. She is completing a degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. He is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The couple is residing in Greensboro.
