Best of the quilt show on display today
Cindy Luebbers of Jackson looks at the best of show winner in the River Heritage Quilters Guild quilt show Saturday at the Arena Building. "Aboriginal Animals" by Lynne Taylor uses hand painting, fused applique, paper piercing and home machine quilting. The show of 115 judged quilts, three special exhibits and 12 vendors continues today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guild member Vickie Howard will show her family quilt collection with bed turnings at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m...
