Two men already facing charges for a break-in at a New Hamburg, Mo., bar now face additional charges related to thefts from automobiles in the area of the bar, Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said Monday. Charles D. Dobyns, 18, of Benton, Mo., faces seven counts of stealing and his bond has been set at $2,500 cash. Two men already facing charges for a break-in at a New Hamburg, Mo., bar now face additional charges related to thefts from automobiles in the area of the bar, Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said Monday.

Charles D. Dobyns, 18, of Benton, Mo., faces seven counts of stealing and his bond has been set at $2,500 cash. Dobyns was arrested Sept. 19 on charges of burglary, property damage and felony stealing for the Aug. 21 break-in at Schindler's Tavern.

Kent J. Courtney, 18, of Chaffee, Mo., also faces seven stealing counts in addition to burglary, felony stealing and felony property damage charges for the tavern break-in. Bond has been set for Courtney at $2,500 on the new charges.

Courtney has not been arrested. In a news release, Walter said he suspects that Courtney fled the state to avoid arrest. Courtney's information has been entered into a national fugitive database.
