Central High student achieves Eagle Scout status

Jacob R. Gentry, member of Boy Scout Troop 5 ,was recently honored with the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting's highest award, at a court of honor ceremony held at VFW Post 3838. Gentry's Eagle Scout project was installing an automatic lawn sprinkler system in the prayer garden at La Croix United Methodist Church. Gentry, 15, is a sophomore at Cape Central High School.
