A Dexter, Mo., woman was injured Sunday evening as the vehicle she was driving ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a fixed object and overturned in a ditch off Highway 25, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports Website. The 2004 Ford driven by Karen S. Stevens, 53, was totaled.

She was traveling .6 miles north of County Road 277 approximately 5 miles north of Advance, Mo., when the accident occurred at around 5:50 p.m. Stevens was transported by air evac to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where she was treated for serious injuries.
