SIKESTON, Mo. -- Glenda Vonell Hosey, 79, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Antioch, Ark., daughter of Charlie Levi and Jewell Velia Wood House. She married Robert Earl Hosey, who died July 26, 1992.

Hosey was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Hosey of Jackson; a daughter, Pamela Breedlove of Alabaster, Ala.; two brothers, Delbert House of Beebe, Ark., Buddy House of St. Louis; two sisters, Charlene Queen of Osage Beach, Mo., Joan Floyd of Holcomb, Mo.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
