ORAN, Mo. -- Ethel Lee "Ann" Evans, 67, of Oran died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at her home.
She was born Jan. 11, 1941, in Fayette County, Ala., daughter of Bersie Lee and Clara May Tucker Tidwell. She and Larry Evans were married Aug. 31, 1974, at Matthews, Mo.
Evans was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tammy Ruedrich of Sikeston; a stepson, Tommy Evans of San Diego; two stepdaughters, Kim Evans of Columbia, Mo., and Laurie Evans of Moberly, Mo.
Also two brothers, Roy Tidwell of Oran, Gene Tidwell of Canalou, Mo.; six sisters, Hassie Sweet and Donna Tidwell of Bertrand, Mo., Bonnie Ditto of Oran, Marty Holt of Blodgett, Mo., Faye Krauss of East Prairie, Mo., Charmain Vanryswik of Albert Lee, Minn.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
