Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Joseph W. Hogeland, 29, of Scott City was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
• Two subjects are in custody pending formal charges for stealing.
• Shadley J. Bigham, 32, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks and a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for stealing.
• Jatyson N. Warfield, 20, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for nonsupport.
• Sir William Watson Moffett III, 24, of Holly Springs, Mo., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for false declaration and a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fine.
• A subject is in custody pending formal charges for assault and property damage.

Assault

• An assault was reported.

Property damage

• Patrick Furniture, 1140 N. Kingshighway, reported graffiti on a wall.
• A window and door were damaged at 304 S. Benton St.
• A vehicle window was reported broken at 1101 William St.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

• Phillip E. Thomas, 39, 773 Hickory Hills Estate, was issued a summons for disturbing the peace.

Thefts

• A theft was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
• A theft was reported in the 300 block of North Ohio Street.

Miscellaneous

• A peace disturbance was reported in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
