Parents without Partners December schedule

• Line dance lessons at Eagles Aerie No. 3775, 321 N. Spring Ave., Cape Girardeau from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 3, 10, 17; beginner lessons at 6 p.m. Open to the public, admission charged.
• A general meeting/orientation at Riverside Regional Library, Union and Adams Street, Jackson, will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The program is on blood clots. Cost is free, open to the public. Bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards.
• Meet at Lil' Miss Muffins and Stuff, 113 West Main St., Jackson at 1 p.m. Dec. 6 for a snack followed by attendance at the Jackson Jaycee Christmas parade. Parade begins at 2 p.m. A Christmas party and ornament exchange will be held at Margaret Baber's home at 6 p.m. Bring a snack and an ornament valued at no more than $5.
• A Christmas book exchange at Riverside Regional Library, Jackson at 7 p.m. Dec. 12. Cost is free. Bring two or three books and be prepared to tell everyone about your favorite author.
• A singles' Christmas dance sponsored by PWP will be from 8 p.m. to midnight Dec. 20 at the VFW hall in Cape Girardeau. Singles and couples are welcome. Cost is discounted for members.
• Members will take children to the movies to give parents a chance for last-minute Christmas shopping. Meet at the Cape West Park Cine 14 at 1 p.m. Dec. 21.
• A New Year's Eve dance with music by Larry Miller from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Dec. 31 at the VFW hall, 1408 Main St., Scott City.
