ANNA, Ill. -- Odell Eastwood, 79, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at his home. He was born May 23, 1925, in White Hill, Ill., son of Paris and Bertie Wall Eastwood. He and Shirley James were married Oct. 4, 1954, in Jackson. Eastwood worked at the former National Mobile Home plant north of Anna, and retired as a custodian at Union County Hospital. ANNA, Ill. -- Odell Eastwood, 79, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at his home.

He was born May 23, 1925, in White Hill, Ill., son of Paris and Bertie Wall Eastwood. He and Shirley James were married Oct. 4, 1954, in Jackson.

Eastwood worked at the former National Mobile Home plant north of Anna, and retired as a custodian at Union County Hospital. He was a member of Saratoga Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Steve Eastwood of Jonesboro; three daughters, Linda Rendleman of Anna; Susan Curtis of Pleasant View, Texas, Lesa Halterman of Anna; two sisters, Betty Garrett of Anna, Alberta Cook of Jonesboro; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
