Rachel Lee Keller and Billy Russell Dawson were married Aug. 16, 2008, at Essex United Methodist Church. The Rev. Roy Sherfield performed the ceremony. Pianist was Nora Fuchs. Soloist was Kate Wyman, niece of the bride, and duets were sung by Carol Vinson, cousin of the bride, and David Wyman, brother-in-law of the bride.

Kenneth and Marsha Keller of Dexter, Mo., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Bruce and Karen Dawson of Cape Girardeau.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Carrie Wyman and Sarah Porter, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsman was Ray Silliman, uncle of the groom. Ushers were Allen Below and Aaron Guethle.

Candlelighters were Jordan Ellenburg, cousin of the groom, and Kacie Karnes.

Kate Wyman was flower girl. Ringbearers were Joe Wyman and Alex Porter, nephews of the bride.

Guest book attendant was Megan Keller, cousin of the bride. Program attendants were Bailey and Molly Below, cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 15 at Hickory Log Restaurant.

The bride received a degree in marketing management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005.

The groom received a degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005.

The couple is involved in agricultural interests in the Dexter area.

A wedding trip to Hawaii is planned later.
