OLMSTED, Ill. — Grace Hunter, 97, of Detroit, formerly of Olmsted, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She was born Aug. 29, 1911, near Olmsted, daughter of Tom and Ida Wilson Butler. She and Charles Rudolph Hunter were married in 1933. He died in 1988...

OLMSTED, Ill. — Grace Hunter, 97, of Detroit, formerly of Olmsted, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

She was born Aug. 29, 1911, near Olmsted, daughter of Tom and Ida Wilson Butler. She and Charles Rudolph Hunter were married in 1933. He died in 1988.

Survivors include two brothers, Pearl Butler of Mound City, Ill., and Gerald Butler of Homewood, Ill.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to service time Sunday at Massie Funeral Home in Mounds.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
