ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Police continue to search for suspects in the fatal shooting of two men inside a car in the parking lot of north St. Louis grocery.
St. Louis police say a man hopped into the back seat of a car at 6:45 p.m. Sunday outside a Schnucks store at City Plaza Shopping Center, then shot the driver and a passenger in the front seat. The gunman then climbed into a waiting car and fled.
The victims are identified as 23-year-old Dwone Currey and 22-year-old Archie White. Both died at the scene.
Capt. Michael Sack says the victims probably knew the third person.
Police say there was a similar incident in the same parking lot last summer. It remains unsolved.
