Alicia Kueker hit for a career-high 34 points to lead Perryville past St. Pius in girls basketball action Monday.

The Pirates posted the 74-43 victory to improve to 6-5 overall and 2-0 in conference.

Kueker also grabbed four rebounds.

Ava Johnson chipped in 21 points for Perryville.

"I think it was my guard play tonight," Perryville coach Vicki Lohmann said. "They really shot the ball well tonight."
