Scott County Central boys basketball coach Ronnie Cookson recorded win No. 700 with his team's victory Tuesday night.

Cookson, who entered the season with 688 wins, saw his team move to 12-1 with its 104-43 win over East Prairie.

Cookson became the eighth boys basketball coach in Missouri history to reach 700 victories.

Senior Drew Thomas led the way for the Braves, scoring 25 points. Desmin Williams and Randy Timmons added 14 apiece.

Scott County opened a 35-6 lead after the first quarter.
