Scott County man charged with sex crimes

A Scott County man sits in jail today charged with some of the most heinous crimes imaginable — sexual abuse of a minor. The man, from Morley, is accused of having sex with a girl between the ages of 10 and 14.

He also has a criminal history.

Cape Girardeau woman killed on I-55

There are very few details available in this case, but a Cape Girardeau woman ran in front of a vehicle on Interstate 55 near St. Louis last night, and she was killed. We're trying to get more details, but for now, here's what we know.
