MoDOT working on Highway 34, I-55

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 34 in Cape Girardeau and Bollinger counties will be reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews perform shoulder repairs. The section of road is between County Road 304 and Route OO. Weather permitting, the work be done 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today. Drivers on northbound Interstate 55 will also find traffic reduced to one lane between Hopper Road and U.S. 61. Work crews will be replacing guardrail between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. today.
