MORLEY, Mo. — A firetruck overturned Saturday injuring two firefighters, according to the Sikeston Standard Democrat. A fire tanker driven by Bobby G. Phillips, 32, of Oran, Mo., was turning northbound at the intersection of U.S. 61 and Highway 77, just north of Morley at 12:47 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. MORLEY, Mo. — A firetruck overturned Saturday injuring two firefighters, according to the Sikeston Standard Democrat.

A fire tanker driven by Bobby G. Phillips, 32, of Oran, Mo., was turning northbound at the intersection of U.S. 61 and Highway 77, just north of Morley at 12:47 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's report, the vehicle then overturned.

Phillips received serious injuries and was taken by Air Evac to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. A passenger in the vehicle, Jacob R. Carter, 18, of Oran was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center where he was treated for moderate injuries.
