As you all know The Zone Insider has been taking over by the jocks that work on the air and so far they have all done a great job...Tab and The Morning Boner have given us some good information and their personal opinions on the Modern Rock World, while keeping a fair and just attitude toward all the readers of Off Magazine and the listeners of Cape's Only Modern Rock the Zone @ 1071. Now for the tricky part, all the DJ's get a turn and that means we have to give Bondsy and Hoey their 1 page of...well just see for yourselves. We thought it would be the smart thing to do a sit down interview with the two, so we could keep some kind of leash on them. Just let the record reflect the views and opinions expressed by these two are not necessarily those of Off Magazine nor the Zone @ 1071.

SW- Your show is called the Mecca-Lekka-Hi-Mecca-Higney-Show...Why?

Bondsy- It was actually Hoey's idea and he doesn't have many...so,

Hoey- Whatever Dude! We wanted to be different from all the other shows and I am a Huge PeeWee Herman fan, all you Peewee groupies know what I'm talking about.

SW- I'm sure there are a lot of those (Pee Wee groupies), anyway, The Zone Insider is a good tool for people to keep up to date on events, concerts and new music month to month. What can you guys tell us about the Month of November?

Bondsy- First I'd like to say you're pretty hot, you have a boy friend?

SW- I'll ask the questions.

Hoey- Nice...

Bondsy- I like a girl with a little spunk, but anyway...November, November...well Ill let Hoey talk about the new music that's comin out, cuz he knows way more about that. Me, I'm more of a social-planner and there's a huge event coming up on November 12th and for anyone who supports local entertainment, they need to be there. It's called the Show Me Digital Film Festival, and my good friend Patrick Bond with the help of Michael Huntington have put together a night of great films with awesome sound along with a comfortable environment. And another cool thing will be the after party...Well at least that's why I'm goin'. But, no, for real, if ya want info on how to get tix you can call Patrick @ 573-270-4769.

SW- Sounds Fun. What about any new music coming out this month?

Hoey- November's gonna be a pretty confusing month, so I'll try not to confuse you anymore than WE usually do during our show. A Perfect Circle releases eMOTIVe early this month and they are no exception when it comes to expressing their political views, but it doesn't take away from Maynard's talent like some artist who preach about the wrongs in the world...(clears his throat)...U2...

SW- What about U2?

Hoey- This is where it gets a bit tricky. In the month of November we have a thing called an election. Bono from U2, not from the US by the way-but still gets a vote, will have like somewhere around 6 or 7 different LP's...Vertigo-Vertigo part 2- How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and there's like 5 versions of that. If ya like U2...fine but don't cram this stuff down my throat like the ads we've been hearing for vote for Bush-No-vote for Kerry...Who cares?

SW- I think a lot of people care...

Bondsy- Well We don't...about U2 that is. I do care bout the next president.

Hoey- Can I finish?.?.?

Bondsy- My bad...

Hoey- I saved the best for Last and it's something Bondsy and myself are really excited about. The Mecca-Lekka-Hi-Mecca-Highney-Show does Broadway.

SW- Really?!? (Bondsy chuckles)

Hoey- Naw I'm kiddin, look for the 3 Cd-Box set plus DVD of Nirvana-called "With the Lights out"...That's it I'm done.

SW- O.K. Anything else you wanna add before we wrap it up.

Bondsy- She said "wrap it up" (Hoey sighs) Yeah, Id like to wish our good pal and fellow co-worker Tab the best of luck. She has done a lot for the local scene and its not an easy job. She's movin to Alaska to become a dog-sled trainer, so we should all wish her the best of luck. If ya wanna party 1 last time with her the after party at Breakaways will be your last shot on November 12th. Oh yeah and Tone-Def is performing.

SW- Stop looking at my boobs Bondsy.

Bondsy- Oh Sorry.

-Tune in 7-Midnight every weeknight for the Mecca-Lekka-Hi-Mecca-Highney-Show for more stupid fun with Bondsy and Hoey on Capes Only Modern Rock the ZONE @ 1071-
