Heather LeAnn Hull and Joseph Artemio Basuel were married Dec. 27, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. The Rev. Grant F.C. Gillard performed the ceremony. Pianist was Jim Rhodes.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Jane Hull of Jackson. The groom is the son of Artemio and Excelsa Basuel of Highland, Ill.

Matron of honor was Veronica Hull, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Basuel-Massie, sister of the groom, and Lesley Penberthy.

Sonny Ayran, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Mike Odell and Dave Dutko. Ushers and candlelighters were Chris Hull, brother of the bride, and Adam Massie, brother-in-law of the groom.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Kathryn and Robert Hull, niece and nephew of the bride. They are the children of Chris and Veronica Hull.

Betty Laws, aunt of the bride, attended the guest book. Program attendants were Chloe and Alex Laws, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Carla Desaulnier, aunt of the bride; Betty Laws and Dawn Pourney.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 26 at Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hull-Basuel is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a pre-law degree and a bachelor of science degree from Webster University in St. Louis in May 2004. She is a paralegal with Hall, Friedly and Ward Attorneys at Law in Mountain Home, Idaho.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Granite City High School. He is a precision measurement electronics lab technician with the U.S. Air Force in Mountain Home.

The couple is residing in Mountain Home.
