'Southeast Missouri State University has announced that Wayne Smith will be the next vice president for university advancement and executive director of the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. He will start on Nov. 30.

Junior American Red Cross meets Sunday

The Junior American Red Cross youth meeting will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Red Cross office, 2430 Myra Drive in Cape Girardeau. The topic is introduction to disaster services. The meeting is open to teens ages 12 to 19. For more information, call the American Red Cross at 335-9471.
