The Southeast Missouri State women's gymnastics team should receive a rugged test at home tonight.

Southeast, ranked 30th nationally, takes on No. 34 Southern Utah and Centenary in a 7 p.m. triangular meet at Houck Field House.

The Redhawks are 4-1 after posting one of the best road scores in program history during last Friday's 194.725-192.775 win at Texas Woman's University.

"I am really pleased with the resilience of the team," Southeast coach Tom Farden said. "They are gelling together right now and it is exciting to watch.

"If these ladies continue following through with focus and determination, we have the ability to exceed our season's goals. I truly believe that our best gymnastics is yet to come."

Southern Utah is coming off an impressive win over Utah State as the Thunderbirds posted a score of 194.750.

Centenary College posted a recent score of 190.250.

One of the themes for tonight's meet is Vertically Challenged Night. Anyone in attendance shorter than Southeast's shortest gymnast (4 foot 11) will receive free admission.
