Lawrence Ike Egbuchiri of Nigeria, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, in Newberry Springs, Calif. He was born Feb. 21, 1975, in Kunsai, Ghana, son of Lazarus and Grace Dimpa-Egbuchiri. Egbuchiri was a former student of Southeast Missouri State University and Oklahoma University. Lawrence Ike Egbuchiri of Nigeria, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, in Newberry Springs, Calif.

He was born Feb. 21, 1975, in Kunsai, Ghana, son of Lazarus and Grace Dimpa-Egbuchiri.

Egbuchiri was a former student of Southeast Missouri State University and Oklahoma University. He was a manager of the AM-PM convenience store in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include four brothers, Innocent Egbuchiri of Cape Girardeau and three others in Nigeria; and three sisters, Chinyere Egbuchiri of Kansas and two others in Nigeria.
