Zenas W. Sitzes, 100, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at his home. He was born June 17, 1904, near Glenallen, Mo., son of Walter and Levena Cameron Sitzes. He and Lucille Bollinger were married Feb. 8, 1939, in Cape Girardeau. She died May 12, 1992...

Zenas W. Sitzes, 100, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at his home.

He was born June 17, 1904, near Glenallen, Mo., son of Walter and Levena Cameron Sitzes. He and Lucille Bollinger were married Feb. 8, 1939, in Cape Girardeau. She died May 12, 1992.

Mr. Sitzes worked 38 years at International Shoe Co., and 10 years at Mid South Steel, retiring in 1969.

Survivors include a daughter, Judith Pulley of Cape Girar-deau; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lila Underwood; two brothers, a sister and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
