Trisha Lynn Moore and Edwin Kaleb Van Weelden were married June 12, 2004, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Washington, Mo. The Rev. William Schwab performed the ceremony.

Mike and Brenda Moore of Washington are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Gary and Ginger Van Weelden of Cape Girardeau.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Amy Moore of Washington, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacy Bohnsack of Cape Girardeau, Laura Freese of O'Fallon, Mo., Melissa Winchester of St. Louis, and Andrea Zulli of Chicago.

Micah Emmons of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were David Eftink of St. Louis; Greg Stevens of Cape Girardeau; Garret Moore of Washington, brother of the bride; and Joel Van Weelden of Destin, Fla., cousin of the groom. Ushers were Robert Rosenquist and Michael Higgins of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Christina and Michell Moore of St. Louis, cousins of the groom.

Flower girls were Ashley and Mandy Mueller of Washington.

Michelle Mullins and Amie Newstead attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Washington City Park Pavilion.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Washington High School, and a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a third grade teacher with Gasconade County School District.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and a 2001 graduate of Southeast. He is an agent with Van Weelden Insurance.

After a cruise to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, the couple is residing in Washington.
