SIKESTON, Mo. -- Marshall Glen Loflin, 71, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born June 26, 1933, near Charleston, Mo., son of Herman Jewell and Leona Langley Loflin. He first married Irma Lee Hubbard, who preceded him in death. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Marshall Glen Loflin, 71, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born June 26, 1933, near Charleston, Mo., son of Herman Jewell and Leona Langley Loflin. He first married Irma Lee Hubbard, who preceded him in death. He later married Nora Kathleen Moore Aug. 13, 1966.

Loflin lived in Scott and Mississippi counties most of his life. He lived in Sikeston a number of years where he owned and operated Loflin's Salvage and Car Lot.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Marshall Loflin Jr. of Collinsville, Ill., Leon, Daniel and Billy Loflin, all of Sikeston, Ronny Loflin of Springfield, Ill.; three daughters, Deborah Gammons and Penny Bequette of Sikeston, and Jean Hazel of Bloomfield, Mo.

Also surviving are four brothers, Joe Loflin of Big Clifty, Ky., Donald Loflin of Attalla, Ala., Johnny Loflin of East Prairie, David Avery of Chula Vista, Calif.; six sisters, Wanda Walker of Indianapolis, Ind., Jewelline Krammer of McAllen, Texas, Mary Patrick, Janet Vines, Karolyn Bailey and Laura Riggens of East Prairie; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today.

There is no funeral. Private burial will be at a later date.
