Jackson stays perfect with victory over Pirates

Jackson's girls basketball team dominated the second half and romped past host Perryville 64-37 Monday night to maintain its perfect record and hand the Pirates their first loss.

The Indians (8-0) outscored Perryville 34-12 after the break, pulling away from a 30-25 advantage.

Jackson's Bobbie Jones led all scorers with 18 points. Kelly Loos had 15, Kylie Werner 12 and Amanda Peiffer 11 for Jackson.

Krista Miesner scored 11 points as the only player in double digits for Perryville (3-1).
