Doris Stueve

UNIONTOWN, Mo. -- Doris L. Stueve, 77, of Uniontown died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.

She was born July 3, 1927, in Perry County, daughter of Ben and Hulda E. Frede Hemmann. She and Reinhold O. Stueve were married Aug. 6, 1950. He died Oct. 7, 1992.

Stueve was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Survivors include a son, Gerald Stueve of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Kathy Schlichting of Frohna, Mo.; two brothers, Harold Hemmann of Frohna, Gilmer Hemmann of Uniontown; a sister, Alice Hacker of Perryville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in Grace Church Cemetery.
