Lavinia Skibbie

Lavinia Mae Skibbie, 86, of Boonville, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at Cooper County Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1918, in Howard County, Mo., daughter of Henry Washington and Maggie Mae Miller Coy. She and John T. Skibbie were married in 1948. He died in 1995...

Lavinia Mae Skibbie, 86, of Boonville, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at Cooper County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 26, 1918, in Howard County, Mo., daughter of Henry Washington and Maggie Mae Miller Coy. She and John T. Skibbie were married in 1948. He died in 1995.

Survivors include a brother, Leon Coy of Boonville.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cape County Memorial Park, with the Rev. Wayne Purvis officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
