ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Sharon Kay Schilling, 53, of Altenburg died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 17, 1951, in Alton, Mo., daughter of George and Velta Agnes Waggoner VanWinkle. She and Harold "Harry" Schilling were married Jan. 26, 1974...

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Sharon Kay Schilling, 53, of Altenburg died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 17, 1951, in Alton, Mo., daughter of George and Velta Agnes Waggoner VanWinkle. She and Harold "Harry" Schilling were married Jan. 26, 1974.

Schilling was a teachers aide eight years at Altenburg Schools. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Matthew Schilling of St. Louis; a daughter, Sarah Ruhland of Columbus, Ohio; her mother of Springfield, Mo.; four sisters, Linda VanWinkle of Portland, Ore., Patricia VanWinkle of Nixa, Mo., Martha Demidow of Rolla, Mo., and Deloris VanWinkle of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Church Cemetery.
