Advance man killed in car wreck

ADVANCE, Mo. -- An 86-year-old Advance man, Raymond C. Mayberry, was killed in a two-vehicle wreck Friday at Highway 25 and Route OO near Advance. Raymond Mayberry was an occupant in a vehicle driven by Sidney F. Mayberry, 75, also of Advance, who sustained moderate injuries.

The Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred as the vehicle driven by Mayberry was turning east onto Route OO from Highway 25 and was struck by a northbound car driven by Sharon Malito, 56, of Burfordville, Mo., who sustained minor injuries.
