Patrick E. Carron of Perryville, Mo., has been appointed to the Primaris board of directors. Carron is currently president and chief executive officer of Perry County Health System. He joined Perry County Memorial Hospital in July 1993 as vice president of operations and assistant administrator and was promoted to president and chief executive officer in 2005. Carron is a graduate of the Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing and Health Services. He also holds degrees from St. Louis University and the Washington University School of Medicine. Primaris is a health care improvement firm based in Columbia, Mo., and serves as Missouri's Medicare Quality Improvement Organization.
